Some of the most commonly used wood species:

Exotic Mahogany

Mahogany is a beautiful evenly grained light reddish brown wood.
Its exceptional strength and longevity combined with its ability to accept a wide variety of rich stains has made Mahogany a traditional favorite of wood craftsman for centuries.
The Bieber family has handcrafted select Mahogany timbers into authentic European windows and doors for over 75 years.

European Pine - FSC Certified

Hardy Scandinavian Pine is a light, almost white wood that provides a neutral palette for stain colors.
This FSC certified wood is a very durable and green product that can be traced all the way from the felling of the timber, to the shipment to our factory, and then to your project.
Bieber utilizes only premium quality pine, and eliminates imperfections with optimization manufacturing processes to achieve a near flawless finish.

Eucalyptus Grandis - FSC Certified

Bieber  utilizes renewable ‘Green’ Eucalyptus grown and harvested from FSC certified South American Eucalyptus Plantations.
Eucalyptus is known as low-maintenance, termite resistant, renewable hardwood making it well suited for the demands and rigors of fenestration usage.
Bieber’s Eucalyptus has a very light colored tight grain that provides a rich beautiful appearance, when finished mimics the appearance of Mahogany.

French Oak

French Oak is the ‘other’ traditional hardwood that has been a favorite of craftsmen for centuries to build fine furniture, boats, windows, doors, and of course French Wine Barrels!
It has a rich luxuriously textured grain that literally exudes strength and character. Bieber’s French Oak varies in color from almost white to a light reddish tan.
This specie readily accepts stains and varnishes capable of producing incredibly deep beautiful finishes ranging in color from light honey to dark antique.
